Quieting the Inner Critic
Most of us walk around with a running commentary in our head, a voice that questions, criticizes, and second-guesses. It feels like truth, but it's actually a pattern, built over years and reinforced by repetition.
The first step isn't silencing it. It's noticing it. When you can name the voice as a habit instead of a fact, you create a sliver of space, and in that space, a different choice becomes possible.
In coaching, we practice replacing that voice line by line. Not with empty affirmations, but with language that's true and constructive. Over time, the default narrator changes.
